Pakistan continue their 2016 cricket tour of England Thursday, as the third Test will stream live with both teams hoping to take a commanding lead in the four-Test series, after each team recorded a definitive win in each of the first two Test matches.
Pakistan got their tour off to an encouraging start in the first Test at the storied Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, holding on for a 75-run win behind a 10-wicket haul by masterful legbreak spinner Yasir Shah, who allowed just 141 of England’s 479 runs across the two innings.
Have a look at @chriswoakes‘ 18 wickets so far this series. That’s seven more than any other bowler… #sharp https://t.co/Qx9zusnLsz

But when the series moved north to Old Trafford in Manchester, England came roaring back thanks to a seven wicket performance from Chris Woakes, while on the batting side, Joe Root pounded out a remarkable double century — reaching 254 off 406 deliveries — while Captain Alastair Cook broke a century with 105 in the sole innings England required to nail down the second Test by 330 runs in four days.
England lost Ben Stokes to a knee injury during the second Test however, bringing lanky pacer Steven Finn back into the side for the third Test at Edgbaston.
Cook has opted to go with a lone spinner once again, taking all-rounder Moeen Ali over Adil Rashid. Ali took five wickets in the second Test but had just taken the crease with the bat when Cook declared England’s innings closed at 589 for eight, scoring only two off of three balls.

Pakistan Captain Misbah-ul-Haq was cagey about his team selection for the Edgbaston Test match.
“We are sure about who will be playing, absolutely no doubt,” Misbah told the media on Tuesday. “But I don’t want to let the other team know. Keep guessing! We are clear in our thinking, and we know what we are going to do.”
