Geno Smith’s return under center for the New York Jets was short-lived.
Smith left Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with an apparent right knee injury. He suffered the injury on a sack in the second quarter and limped to the sideline. The quarterback tried to walk it off, but he had to be taken back to the locker room for further evaluation.

The injury means Ryan Fitzpatrick returned to action for the Jets shortly after being benched in favor of Smith for the game.
Smith was 4 of 8 for 95 yards and a touchdown prior to his injury.
