One big hearted dad handed out sweets to passengers on a flight, so that his 3-year-old daughter could trick or treat on an airplane. People flying on board the Virgin America from Boston to San Francisco were handed candies and this note: “My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight, so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her.” The dad also wrote: “If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween!”
Fellow traveler Stephanie Kahan, who is a mum-of-one from Boston, admitted that before the plane took off, she overheard the little girl behind her saying she couldn’t wait to trick or treat in San Francisco. “I was so sad for her because I thought she was planning to trick or treat when we landed, which was midnight in SF, and I knew she was going to be disappointed,” Kahan told HuffPost.
But the dad couldn’t allow his little pumpkin to be upset, and set the little girl for the most unforgettable in-the-air Halloween experience ever! Kahan said her heart was absolutely melted to see a happy girl dressed as a donut, trick-or-treating while walking the aisle. And she wasn’t the only one – the woman’s tweet about the kind dad went viral!
